LED light comes with a quick connect harness that plugs into the end of the light.  

You can choose to add a factory OEM harness to make installation more convenient and no tap will be necessary.  The OEM harness  plugs right into the factory harness and a lever lock is provided to insert your wires into the connector.

 OEM harness sold separately as an option.
