“I'm a greater believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it”
― Thomas Jefferson
That quote about sums up the weeks leading to BikeWeek in Daytona Beach, Florida - March 6-15th. The weeks preceeding the start of BikeWeek are a blur. Our time was filled with late nights at the shop working on bikes from all over the good ole USA. Our days were filled shipping order for FRANTIC TricLED fans calling to make sure their order will make it in time for BikeWeek (every hear the term procrastiantion guys???)
However, when we arrived, the stress of the weeks leading up our arrival started to melt away when we drove our SS's ON THE BEACH!! It was easy to remember why I got into this business in the first place. Great people and more great people. It was nice to only have to travel a few hours (in perfect weather) to Daytona Beach from our base in South Florida when many people literally had to take plane, trains and automobiles (motorcycles) to arrive.
I was great to see some old friends and make plenty of new ones. Polaris should have filmed a SlingShot commerical with the crew we assembled. Most Slingshots in one location, probably to date!!
